Sylvie Gendron is a native French Canadian and has lived on the Big Island since 1999. She has a deep passion for the natural beauty of the island and connects strongly with the Hawaiian culture & spirituality. Sylvie is also a Certified Tour Guide by Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Parks and the State of Hawaii. And offers private tours in French or English

Sylvie Gendron is a Certified Massage Therapist with 20 more years of experience ranging from Western-Style Massage & Hawaiian Lomilomi, to water-based Aqua-Veechi, Aqua-Mouvance, Watsu and her special Waterlomi.

Sylvie's extensive training, plus her personal experience in overcoming a sport injury, has empowered her to offer you a profound, healing massage.

 

Sylvie works with you holistically, going deep into the source of pain and facilitating healing on all levels. She helps you release any stress or old patterns or beliefs to facilitate the road to healing.

She intuitively uses her expertise in Lomilomi with other modalities (Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue when    helpful,   having   learned healing techniques from Big Island Massage School and from eight different Kumu or teachers. 

​

Sylvie's treatment may include the use of hot stones and medicinal plants, pressure point, energy work, Huna Shamanic Counseling to release old patterns that no longer work for you, and compassionate Ho'oponopono to bring the body, mind and spirit into righteousness.
